We have been in the water heater business since 1994 and have seen what damage water heaters can create when they fail. When this happens, we are fortunate enough to get on the phone and call Summit Restoration. Why we say fortunate? Because they are in that field for a reason; you want to talk about being qualified, thorough, responsive, and clean. We can rely on our customers being satisfied with Summit Restoration in an event that sometimes brings tears to homeowners. We have had a great working relationship with Summit Restoration because how they do business, how they treat our customers and how much they care in general.
We would like to share a situation that occurred this year that would give you and idea of the integrity of Summit stemming from the owner Will Dellaechaie. Will called us up one day and explained that an elderly lady in a condo had water damage to her condo. However the water came from the unit above and that owner denied that there was a leak in their condo. It was obvious that that owner had repaired the leak and all the damage from their condo and declined they ever had a leak. On some occasions the HOA of the property would pay for the repairs and any damages if the leak occurred in the wall. Since there was no proof of a water leak in the wall, the HOA declined to file an insurance claim. The elderly woman was left with the water damage through most of her condo without a responsible party. Will felt terrible for the lady, so he called up every sub-contractor for what was needed to rebuild the property including our company. He asked us politely if we would be interested in rebuilding this lady’s condo for free and he would understand if we said no. We of course agreed to do the plumbing portion. Will was able to remediate the property himself and rehab the property without a cost to the elderly woman. It says a lot for an individual to go the extra mile to call the subs and have that difficult conversation with contractors to do something for free, but he did. We are proud to say we worked on that project and it is all because of Will and Summit Restoration.
